Testimonios

“When I first started my academic career at UCLA, Monie was the PLF for one of my first courses (English course). PLF stands for 'Peer Learning Facilitator' and her role was to assist and guide the students in that class with any academic troubles. I met with Monie various times asking for help on my essays; she proofread, gave me advice on the structure, and more! Monie is a big reason why I passed my course as an incoming UCLA student who was new to that type of academic writing. She was always patient with me and very responsive. Of course, she helped other students in the class and we were all very fond of her and with all the support she provided us with. I ended up passing that course with an A. I would recommend her services to anyone. Not only is she knowledgeable and has years of experience, but she is also very friendly and will make you feel very comfortable. Give her a try, you won't be disappointed”!

She is very knowledgeable and simply talking to her when I am struggling with something brings about so many new ideas. Monie has been a great support for me. She has pushed me to grow more confident in my capabilities in academics”.

“I have been working with Monica for close to 2 years now. I'm a student at community college and found myself needing extra support. Though I was hesitant, I decided to give it a go and I am very glad I did! I appreciate that she is very understanding and supportive when it comes to my learning disability. She encouraged me to seek out accommodations which have become very helpful throughout my college education. I can't wait to transfer to my dream school, UC Davis in the near future! Thank you for everything”.

"Monica is a very dedicated, patient, thoughtful tutor. She has been tutoring my two 9 years old boys for a few months already. My two boys were very behind on reading and now they had made tremendous progress. One of my sons has ADHD, a speech problem, and a learning disability. He is 9 years old in 3rd grade and didn't know how to read. Now finally after Monica he has been very patiently tutoring him he started reading. I have observed her while she is tutoring and she has the capacity, knowledge, and ability to keep my son engaged in learning. I am very happy and very fortunate to have found someone so capable to help my two boys. She is great at guiding and tutoring them in math work problems, composing essays, writing speeches. She is willing to communicate with my boy's teachers regarding their school and be part of my boys' education team. . On their worst day, she finds a way to engage them to do their work with different approaches as necessary, kind, and patiently. Definitely recommend her, I am very happy with the service she provides and continue looking forward to her being part of my boys' education team. She is very professional and knowledgeable special for kids with learning and behavior challenges".
